Dan started his musical career in 5th grade, taking up percussion in the school band. He played various percussion instruments all through middle school before receiving his first drum kit for Christmas in 2000. While he continued to play in marching band during high school, his set playing skill continued to build as Dan played with friends, but never forming an official band. Upon entering college, he joined the Central Connecticut Blue Devils Marching Band for the first two years of school, playing both snare drum and bass drum. 

Right now Dan is working as an intern at Sikorsky Aircraft while not playing at a Rotary show. He is also working his way to a college degree in mechanical engineering. When he is not practicing drums Dan like to work on his car, watch TV, or hang out with friends.
